“There are many sports I have tried over the years, some good, some boring and some too energetic such as squash! I felt I needed something to complement my lifestyle and fitness requirements. Last year I discovered Nordic walking and found it to be an excellent way of keeping fit and toning muscles I did not know I had (!), as well as being good for the mind. It is a fun and sociable activity for all ages, led by excellent instructor who is mindful of our individual abilities. I really look forward to my weekly sessions- for the exercise, friendship and increased appreciation of my local area”
